LKSD All-Stars to compete at State NYO meet

The All Star Team for the Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) has been determined at the conclusion of the LKSD District NYO Meet that took place in Nightmute this past weekend. Athletes were chosen to compete in 10 native youth olympics events at the state meet in Anchorage and will be representing their hometowns and LKSD. The LKSD All Stars are the 2022 NYO State Champions and will be looking to extend their title at NYO’s biggest end of season competition.

The state meet will take place at the Alaska Airlines Center April 20-23, 2023.

  1. Carson John who is competing for Eskimo stick pull, is from Kwigillingok, not Quinhagak.
