The Alaska Schools Activities Association (ASAA) and Dimond High School will be hosting the State Mixed 6 Volleyball tournament May 7-8, 2021 in Anchorage. ASAA Covid-19 Mitigation plans will be followed as well as the NFHS Volleyball rules considerations. There will be no spectators on Friday, says ASAA. Once the tournament uses one court, there will be limited fans allowed. When allowed, all spectators are restricted to the spectators areas.

In 2020 there was no Mixed 6 or 2A-4A state tournaments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, the Kalskag Grizzlies placed 3rd. Tanalian (Port Alsworth) took first and the team from Gustavus took second. The Akiuk Grizzlies and the Alakanuk Braves tied for 9th.

Kalskag Grizzlies Martin Paul and Mika Levi were named to the All Tourney team.

In 2A action in 2019, the Chevak Comets tied for 7th. Craig won and Unalaska was second. The 2A-4A State Volleyball tournaments have been cancelled for this year.
