Arctic Entries storytelling event May 22

The storytelling event Arctic Entries is happening in Bethel on May 22nd at 6:00 pm!

In the spirit of This American Life, The Moth, and other storytelling events, Arctic Entries brings Alaskans to the stage to share their personal stories: funny, sad and sweet. At every performance, seven people each tell a seven-minute long true story about themselves.

Join us for an evening of entertaining true stories from folks you probably know! This year’s lineup includes: Barb Atchak, Eva Malvich, Carey Atchak, Anne Kosacheff, Grant Fairbanks, Tim “Kamguk” Andrew, and Mike Williams Sr. Musical guest Jami Sieber is also set to perform and co-hosts Bev Hoffman and Olivia Cohn will share the stage.

Tickets are on sale from the Southwest Alaska Arts Group Facebook page, with discounted tickets available until May 15th. Proceed go toward honorariums provided to storytellers this season. The event is co-sponsored by SWAAG, and the Kuskokwim Consortium Library. For more information contact 543-4516.
