Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending February 9

 


• On 02-04-12 at 10:30 a.m. firefighters responded to the area of Tundra Ridge for a report of a house fire. Upon arrival no smoke or flames were evident. Fire fighters investigated and found fire hidden and extending through the floor. The floor was opened and firefighters extinguished the fire. The fire cause was accidental in nature.

• On 02-04-12 at 4:58 p.m. medics responded to Kasayuli Subdivision for report of an elder who was unwell. Upon arrival, medics found a 59 year old woman who was unable to walk. Medics provided transport to the hospital.

• On 02-05-12 at 8:21 p.m. medics responded to Akakeek street for report of a woman vomiting blood. Upon arrival, medics assessed and transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-05-12 at 8:36 p.m. medics responded to Atsaq Street for report of woman laying in road. Upon arrival medics assessed and transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-07-12 at 2:00 a.m. firefighters responded to the area of Napakiak Drive for a report of a CO alarm sounding. Firefighters located the source of the CO and left the home in a safe condition.

• On 02-07-12 at 11:38 a.m. medics responded to Front Street for report of a man with blood on face. Upon arrival, medics found an intoxicated 35 year old male with battle signs. Medics transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-07-12 at 11:47 a.m. medics responded to Chief Eddied Hoffman Highway for report of a man possibly having heart attack. Upon arrival, medics found a 47 year old male with chest pain. Medics transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-07-12 at 12:45 a.m. medics responded to Chief Eddied Hoffman Highway for report of a man possibly having heart attack. Upon arrival, medics found a 82 year old male with chest pain and difficulty breathing. Medics transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-07-12 at 5:45 p.m. medics responded to Sixth Avenue for report of a woman found unable to wake. Upon arrival, medics found a 26 year old female was unable to wake for assessment. Medics transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 02-09-12 at 10:47 p.m. medics responded to Ptarmigan Street for report of a woman found not breathing with no pulse. Medics performed CPR and transported the patient to the hospital.
