Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending January 27

 


• On 1/8/12 at 10:59pm, firefighters responded to the area of Ptarmigan Street for a report of a patient feeling really sick. Upon arrival, medics found an elder suffering from severe dehydration following a bout of flu like symptoms. Medics gave IV fluid, oxygen, and transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 1/12/12 at 8:52am, medics responded to Tundra Ridge for the report of a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. Upon arrival, medics found a 19 year old with a wound to his left leg. The patient was treated and transported to the hospital.

• On 1/13/12 at 9:23pm, medics responded to Noel Polty Street for the report of an infant having trouble breathing. Upon arrival, medics found a 5 month old male who had a congested cough. Patient’s guardian refused transport to the hospital.

• On 1/23/12 at 9:43pm, medics responded to Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway for the report of a man who took some pills. Upon arrival, medics found a 52 year old male who had ingested an unknown amount of pills. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 1/24/12 at 5:40pm, medics responded to Kusko Court for a female with frostbite. Upon arrival, medics found a 51 year old female with frostbite on her feet. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 1/27/12 at 6:22pm, medics responded to Ridgecrest Drive for a report of a man with facial injuries. Upon arrival, medics found a 23 year old male who had been assaulted. The patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
