The children of Mekoryuk on Nunivak Island worked together to clean up their island home for their annual Clean Up Green Up event. They would like to thank CITC, CVRF, AVCP, Ryan Air, YKHC, and AVEC for the prizes. The kids together picked 150 bags of trash. “I would like to thank all the entities that supported our cause,” said Betty Ione Evan of the Native Village of Mekoryuk. “Our children were so happy for the great prizes.”
